- Understand car classes, rates, and other basic reservation knowledge in order to handle calls independently
- Answer incoming calls in a professional and timely manner, while maintaining superior customer service, following established procedures and providing accurate rental information
- Maintain a consistent booking ratio when number of calls handled is compared to reservations booked
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Budget locations, hours, and operating procedures in order to direct non-reservation related calls to the appropriate person
- Maintain an excellent attendance record
- Develop and maintain minimum call times while ensuring customer service
- Enter reservation information into system using appropriate codes and obtaining/verifying required information
- Maintain current knowledge and adhere to the guidelines on all company policies and procedures, new training information etc.
- Support a team environment by assisting other departments when needed
| | Minimum Qualifications |
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Professional phone voice and positive attitude
- Type 50+ wpm
- Strong verbal skills
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Detail oriented
- Ability to deal with stressful situations or upset customers on occasion
- Basic computer knowledge

- Previous reservation experience
- Car rental, truck rental or travel industry experience
- Fluent in Spanish
